The SkyNet project is the space program of the RPI electronics club. Currently the space program is very new and near term goal is to launch a weather balloon which we plan to use as a launch platform for space vehicles.
The project is run by the RPI Electronics Club.
The Skynet Project currently consists of two sections. First the Sub Orbital Imaging(Version 1). This is the section currently in development and is a stepping stone to Extra Orbital Imaging(Version 2). Hopefully the EOI will begin sometime during the Fall 2009 semester.
